How can I obtain my DVR hostname?

To obtain the IP address from within an EasyNet DVR, you must first place the DVR on the local network (LAN). Once the DVR is able to communicate with the router, and port 7000 is forwarded to the DVR in the router settings correctly, navigate into the DVRs network menu, then DDNS. Next to Network URL, the full host name syntax should be displayed. If the Network URL displays the local address of the DVR, then the DDNS registration has not succeeded due to improper IP addressing or port configuration.
